Challenge

AR detection is tricky both with the Google Tango as well as with the occipital Structure sensor. Structure does so far provide higher Resolution while Tango comes with some very useful features like area recognition which is so far not provided by the occipital SDK or has to be programmed with intese research based tasks. There are a bunch of good algorithms who can do area recognition. We forked lots of them and do parallel testing with the algorithms. But it will take a while until they are sewed with the stuff that's provided with structure or Tango. See forked Projects on: https://github.com/freshNfunky
